Projectile trails will return in a future update (they are getting a performance fix.)
If you don't like mousing over pickups, try the Auto Pickup Gameplay option.
If you lose your cursor, try the Cursor Lines Gameplay Option.

Fixes Warp stacks not being removed on teleport
Frozen cards no longer unfreeze automatically
Changes experience curve
New Cards: Acid Rain, Nuclear Fallout, Dagger Fall, Blade Shower, Sword Rain, Blazing Skies, Lightning Strike, Lightning Storm, Thunder Crash, World Tree
New Relics: Essence of Star, Strange Box

Rebalances Rain, Downpour, Deluge, Contemplate, Focus, Meditate, Accretion Disk, Meteor, Stun, Paralyze, Electrocute and probably more cards
Rebalances most enemies
Removes Comet Card (getting a rework?)
Removes timescale from difficulty (replaced with turbo mode)
Renames Lightning Storm -> Electric Field
Temporarily Removes Projectile Trails
Updates rain VFX
